I do intermittent fasting 2-3 times per year for about 2 weeks and usually try to find quick and easy ways to help me get my macros and micros necessary for sustainability. These bars are great with ingredients I know and can feel comfortable replenishing my body with the vitamins it needs while fasting. I only wish there was more protein in them, which I need more of while fasting. They all taste good, but coconut macadamia is my favorite, honey and nuts for second and chocolate chip for third.

The negative - these are pricey! $36 a box for 12 bars makes these $3 each. The protein bar industry is highly competitive and there are hundreds out there. And there are plenty that have natural ingredients with the same benefits there are better with their price point. Bars are great yes, but not sure if I'd buy them again based on my wallet.

I had previously done a Prolon fast and while i was not a fan of the fast, I prefer a 24-36 hour water fast, I did love some of the snacks like the bars and crackers they provided. So excited that they released the bars for retail!! I saw some complaints about the flavor. I am VERY picky about bars. I hate artificial flavors or sweeteners. These taste very organic. Like ground up whole ingredients pressed together. The flavors are different than come with the fast but each of these tasted equally as good. I was timid about the coconut because I usually hate coconut that is not fresh, but these tasted just like hints of fresh coconut.

Highly recommend! Especially if you want to have a snack and stay fasted. Ive tested them with a glucose monitor and there was no reaction.

I was disappointed on a couple of fronts. First, the flavor was not to my liking. The bars had an artificial taste that I found off-putting, which detracted from the overall experience. I did the three-day reset from Prolon and really loved the crackers and thought the bars would be good, but they weren't great.

Secondly, considering the price point, I expected better quality and taste. They are quite expensive compared to similar products on the market, which made the disappointment even more pronounced.
